Compliance
Four things are true about how we handle your data.
- We work inside your own practice-management system.
- We sign a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) before any access to patient data.
- Nothing is stored on our side.
- You can withdraw our access at any time.
Glossary
- BAA
- Business Associate Agreement. A written contract, required under HIPAA, between a covered entity (your practice) and a business associate (a vendor like us) that handles protected health information on the practice's behalf. It sets out what the vendor may do with the data and how it must protect it.
- PHI
- Protected health information. Under HIPAA, any information that identifies a patient and relates to their health, care, or payment for care.
